Check Out The Resumes Of The Meth Chefs From Breaking Bad

If you don't watch Breaking Bad, you should start. It's a show about a high school Chemistry teacher who learns he has terminal lung cancer and then uses his expertise to cook meth. One of his former students helps him sell, and it's a very dramatic, interesting show.

All that aside, I IMDB'd the two meth chefs the other day and found two of the more impressive resumes in the TV/film industry. Basically, it wasn't good if one of these guys wasn't it in. Let's take a look:

Bryan Cranston (Walter White)

He started acting in 1982, and in his three decades he's been on some of the most entertaining, popular shows and TV movies:

Amazon Women on the Moon (just kidding, but it was probably good)
Baywatch (one season)
Matlock (two seasons)
Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers (voices in two episodes)
Walker, Texas Ranger (one episode)
Touched by an Angel (one episode)
Murder, She Wrote (three seasons)
The Louie Show (six episodes)
Sabrina, the Teenage Witch (the Witch Lawyer)
Seinfeld (five episodes over three seasons)
Saving Private Ryan (obviously not a TV movie)
The X-Files (one episode)
Honey, I Shrunk the Kids (the TV series)
Clerks (three episodes over two seasons)
The King of Queens (four episodes over three seasons)
Lilo & Stitch (the TV series, one episode)
Little Miss Sunshine (again, not a TV movie)
Malcolm in the Middle (six seasons, probably what he's best known for)
How I Met Your Mother (two episodes over two seasons)
Fallen (four episodes)
Family Guy (voice in one episode)
American Dad! (voice in two episodes)
The Lincoln Lawyer (not TV)
Drive (not TV)
Larry Crowne (not TV)
Contagion (not TV)
Breaking Bad (we've established that one)
Robot Chicken (three episodes, including voicing Gandalf and the Grim Reaper)
Red Tails (not TV)
Madagascar 3 (not in theaters yet)

Not a bad lineup of shows and movies, huh? But we're only halfway done.

Aaron Paul (Jesse Pinkman)

He's significantly younger than Cranston, and thus has been acting for a shorter time (he started in 1998). His list:
Beverly Hills, 90210 (one episode)
Melrose Place (one episode)
The X-Files (one episode)
Judging Amy (two episodes)
NYPD Blue (one episode)
CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (one episode)
Van Wilder (the movie, in which he was billed as "Wasted Guy")
ER (one episode)
CSI: Miami (one episode)
Guiding Light (one episode)
Veronica Mars (one episode)
Joan of Arcadia (one episode)
Point Pleasant (three episodes)
Criminal Minds (one episode)
Bones (one episode)
Ghost Whisperer (one episode)
Mission: Impossible III (obviously not a TV show)
The Last House on the Left (not TV)
Breaking Bad (four seasons)

As you can see, they've both increased their workload in recent years to include more popular television shows and even full-length, in-theater movies. If I could buy stock in actors, I'd buy some of both of these guys.

PS: you really need to start watching Breaking Bad if you don't already. Makes me want to start selling meth, and yes I do understand that selling meth is a horrible life choice.
