Check Out The Resumes Of The Meth Chefs From Breaking Bad

If you don't watch Breaking Bad, you should start. It's a show about a high school Chemistry teacher who learns he has terminal lung cancer and then uses his expertise to cook meth. One of his former students helps him sell, and it's a very dramatic, interesting show.

All that aside, I IMDB'd the two meth chefs the other day and found two of the more impressive resumes in the TV/film industry. Basically, it wasn't good if one of these guys wasn't it in. Let's take a look:

Bryan Cranston (Walter White)

He started acting in 1982, and in his three decades he's been on some of the most entertaining, popular shows and TV movies:

'Jeff, Who Lives At Home' Trailer

Poor movie title. That's the first thing I noticed. But as I watched the trailer (which I only did because I'm a big Jason Segel fan) it looks like it could be a quietly good movie. It won't sell a lot of tickets because it's not about a superhero or the Jersey Shore cast.

I was expecting a dumb comedy, but I think this is going to be mostly a drama-type movie. There will be plenty of comic relief I'm sure, but the Duplass brothers (writers/directors) want viewers to leave with a new outlook on life.

Don't expect any Mike Tyson appearances like the Hangover or any Russell Brand songs about boning. But expect a very, very good movie.

'Haywire' Trailer

There is no way this movie can be bad. Actually not a chance that it's not at least good. It will probably be great. Soderbergh. Tatum. Douglas. Banderas. McGregor. Fassbender. People who (talented or not) can be identified simply by last name. Gina Carano is a smoke and a muy thai master. And there are actors is billed as "Helpful Guy" and "Rodrigo's New Wife". Just figured I'd throw that in there to spoil the plot twist (Rodrigo gets remarried).

The Real Golden Globes Recap

Jay based his recap on the "Important Categories."  I'm pretty sure they're all weighted the same amount man, so who are you to choose which are important and which aren't?  And whose fault is it you didn't pick most of them?  Forget that bullshit, here are the real results.

Golden Globes Recap

Let's see how we did. Keep in mind, I didn't pick more than half of the categories and Toph picked most of his based on ridiculous things. The important ones:

Chris' Golden Globe Picks

Jay and I noticed that the Golden Globes were today, so we figured we'd make our picks considering we're highly qualified to give our opinions.  Personally, I've been to the movies once since about a year ago, so this will be pretty interesting.

So The Golden Globes Are Tonight.. Jay Edition

To be honest, I haven't seen all of the movies and shows that are nominated for awards at tonight's Golden Globes. I'm sorry. For that reason, I feel like I can't give an all-encompassing preview. But what I can do is give you a small preview that includes the categories I have a clue about. To the blog!

'The Avengers' Trailer

The future highest-grossing movie of all time comes out in a couple months:

Robert Downey Junior, Iron Man, The Guy Who Plays The Human Torch, Captain America, Mark Ruffalo, Lou Ferrigno, The Hulk, Thor, Samuel L. Jackson, Scarlett Jo, Gwyneth Paltrow, Jeremy Renner, I think I saw Mr. Anderson?

I can't even begin to talk about how hot Scarlett Jo is going to be in this movie. My mouth is literally watering now just from the trailer.

And in case you were wondering, the future most famous superhero movie quote ever:

"If we can't protect the earth, you can be damn sure we'll avenge it"
